This monster was conceived by the twisted minds of the teams at Drekker Brewing and Kros Strain, but then put to rest in a blend of bourbon barrels for 24 months before being unleashed on the world. With Giant sized flavors of peanut and coconut combining with rich fudge. You better consume it before it consumes you!

Received a 16 oz can from @bbtkd on 5-29-26. Sticker price says 17.99. Undated can was sampled on 6-6-26. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured black as night with a brief flicker of a brown head that dissipated quickly.
Nose is full of the barrel, getting oak and bourbon along with mild roasted notes and chocolate.
Taste is a very large mildly roasted malt base that takes on the additions very nicely. Not one flavor dominates but get a combination of vanilla, chocolate, and peanuts. Coconut barely shows in post sip aspirations. Barrel brings oak and bourbon along with some warming heat. It attempts to balance but the sip sweetness carries on in a style appropriate manner.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and very smooth.
Overall, this is definitely dessert before dinner. The adjuncts are woven in beautifully, and the base beer is very nice.

Kros Strain/Drekker collab Dr Legume's Monster 24mo BBA Imperial (Pastry) Stout, 13% ABV. Pours thick and extremely black, with a slight dark-brown head that left peanut residue. Aroma is peanut, coconut, and fudge. Taste follows with fudge stealing the show, very sweet, some may call it cloying. Bourbon is coming out as it warms. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy, overall a world-class pastry stout. Add-junks FTW.
Update next morning: I liked this beer way more than it liked me. If you have reflux, I strongly urge you not to drink it too close to bedtime...
