Maple, eh? We took our thick and fudgy stout recipe and rested it in a blend of bourbon barrels for 36 months and then added just a touch of maple syrup resulting in a beer worthy of a stack of pancakes.

Kros Strain 36mo Double Barrel Barreled Distortion Maple Syrup Imperial Pastry Stout, 13% ABV. Pours thick and black with a ring of light-brown bubbles that left no lacing. Aroma is strong maple syrup, chocolate, roasted malt, and bourbon. Taste follows, with maple and roast malt stealing the show, moderately sweet, equally bitter, with no bourbon burn. Excellent thick and smooth mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Overall world-class.
