Double Dry Hopped Citra Pale Ale (2020-2021)
6% ABV
Poured from a 16 oz. can into a Rastal Teku glass.
LOOK: Pours a very light yellow/orange. Almost white or pink in spots. Fully hazy/opaque. Very little head or lacing.
SMELL: Grapefruit. Not getting much else. I have a terrible sense of smell.
TASTE: A little hoppy/bitter on the front. The citrus/grapefruit is there throughout. Not getting much else on the back end.
FEEL: Light, crisp, refreshing. Medium to thin mouthfeel, at least compared to a lot of NEIPAs. Very drinkable at 6%.
OVERALL: Very good. Refreshing and drinkable. Bright and citrusy. No unpleasant smells or tastes.

Pretty good. Hazy, hoppy, and citrusy. Not overwhelming with the hops or big flavors, but delivers a respectable amount of flavor. Light bodied, easy to drink. A beer I’d describe as “just right.”

Poured from pint can into shaker pint glass.
A: Pours a hazy lemon yellow hue with 2 inch frothy/bubbly white head with excellent retention. Leaves a nice amount of lacing behind.
S: Grapefruit, pine resin, and hints of orange and lemon.
T: Lovely sweet lemon, soft grapefruit, juicy tangerine, and orange. Just a hint of pine in the background. Wow!
M: Light-medium body. Extremely plush, juicy, soft, and creamy feel. Stupendous! The citra hop absolutely shines. Lovely delicate citrus sweetness which lingers on the palate.
D: Wow! What a find! This brew takes the pale ale to a whole new level (or two). Well crafted, sessionable, interesting on its own or pairs effortlessly with food, simply amazing. Well done, More!

This is the second beer I've had from More Brewing Co and it is better than the first which was still solid.
A: A hazy pale straw gold with a two finger head that lingered well.
A: Very tropical and fruity as expected of Citra. Getting orange and pineapple juice up front along with some floral dankness.
T: Follows the nose with pithy orange juice, sweet pineapple, resinous dank bitterness and some malt sweetness.
F: Nice and lasting with a definite dank resin note that balances it out well.
O: This is an excellent beer that I would definitely get another 4 pack of.

Pours a completely opaque, cloudy bright neon straw color. Thick three finger pillowy head dissipates leaving just a thin layer of foam on top of the beer.
Aroma has notes of juicy orange and citrus, a little nectarine and clementine. A touch of grassy hop notes also come through.
Taste has light notes of orange, clementine, ripe nectarine and some lemon grass all on a prominent biscuit malt backbone. Moderate bitterness builds on itself as the beer is consumed.
Feel is medium to heavier bodied for a pale ale. Moderate carbonation.
Overall its a solid tasty pale ale. Id definitely drink it again - I guess for a pale ale, I just wish it drank more like a pale ale. Its got pale ale flavors on an IPA body.

16oz can, no apparent freshness date. Thanks to Ken for giving me a can to try! Hazy and opaque yellowed body with a thin ivory head. Juicy citrus aroma with tropical fruit. Typical delicious Citra hop flavors with loads of passion fruit, guava, and floral grapefruit. Full & creamy body, some hop resins coat the palate, moderate carbonation, and a balanced finish. Good as expected from an all Citra hopped DDH pale ale.

Milky orange-yellow with a silky surface and only a thin white chain around the edge, the full frothy body is more dank, cannabic and spicy than the Mozie next to it, featuring pine and eucalyptus with orange and grapefruit, also finishing dry.

Had on tap. Very hazy light orange was the look. The smell was tangerine, mango and some peach. The taste followed the smell but it was not as sweet and juicy as I thought. There was some mild bitterness to it which really help to balance it out. Overall this was a good beer.
