On draft at More. Pour is hazy straw golden yellow body, one finger white head. Fair retention, a bit of lacing. Smell is grapefruit, light caramel, a touch of pine resin. Straightforward simcoe flavour profile. Flavour is a fair bit of grapefruit, citrus, caramel, very light pine resin, not particularly bitter. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation, mild resinous bitterness on the backend, otherwise fairly sweet. This one drank more like a standard WC IPA than a hazy NE IPA, but not in a bad way.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a crowler on March 13, 2018. Brewed with Golden Promise and Golden Naked Oats. Whirlpooled and dry hopped with simcoe hops. A softer haze than our norm and a slightly more malty profile.

This had a nice look, hazy but not really as hazy as some I've had. This had a nice texture to it and a nice mouthfeel. It was a little more malty than a lot of IPAs I've had but still a very solid beer

Draft at MoRE. Light yellow-orange hazy (not cloudy) appearance. Citrus sweetness tasting good ol' fashioned IPA (not NE style). Drier, mild bitter finish.

On tap at the brewery - Villa Park, IL
Semi cloudy tangerine colored ale with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is mainly piney and citric hops. Nice flavors of both malt and hop: nutty oats, pale malt, pungent pine and grapefruit hop bite. Medium body, quite resinous but still creamy, finishing bitter with hops lingering. This was a good IPA with a unique malt backbone. Glad to try it.
