Toasty bread and caramel notes, with a firm bitterness for balance.

16oz can
no apparent freshness date
L: ruby-amber colored body; tall and foamy beige head
S: very malty; caramel bread crust, grain; spicy & herbal hops
T: caramelized grain, bread, brown sugar, hops are spicy, herbal, and earthy
F: medium body, quite rich, ample carbonation, nice balance on the semi-dry finish
O: full flavored, but it’s quite heavy, which takes away from drinking a ton of it; otherwise it’s good

Appearance: Pours a clear, dark ruby red to mostly amber color with a massive white head that lingers. SRM of 15-16. (4.25)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of sourdough bread, yeast, and bread malts upfront. Some rich bread malt evolves. (3.50)
Flavor: Picks up on the flaovr with moderate flavors of bread malt, smooth caramel, lightly toasty, but smooth bread eventually wins out. Malty on the finish.(4.00)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Low carbonation. Drinks malty, mildly sweet, and flat. (3.50)
Overall: An okay Oktoberfest here. Some sourdough aromas. Bready, doughy, slightly sour. Picks up a bit on the flavor to be average. Under-carbonated though for an overall "okay" experience. Average or less. (Rating: 3.75-)

More beer from More. 16 ounce can, no visible canning date, 5.5 ABV, poured into my tall Becher.
L -- Deep, clear, copper-amber with a dense, sticky, off-white head.
S -- Light, spicy noble hops up front, not much else.
T -- Nutty, sweetish malts up front with a lightly spicy hop bitterness following. A nearly cocoa sweetness in the finish, but not lingering. Spicy, bitter hops in the aftertaste.
M -- Mouthfeel is soft and smooth with a medium body. Some dryness in the finish.
O -- After being wowed by More's Maibock -- and its great bready character, this beer is rather disappointing in its lack of malt depth. It's definitely a drinkable beer, and doesn't fall into the Ami-Okto as Brown Ale trap, but I wish it had just a bit more personality.

Had on tap. Dark caramel brown with a limited cream head. Big caramel malt nose with light toast, solid but limited. Taste follows but gives some dark bread and dry dark fruit to pair, promised bitterness is barely there. Feel is malty, smooth, monotone and mildly crisp. Solid marzen with an emphasis on malt
