Hazy orange opaque body, white head. Vanilla frosting is the name of the game in smell and taste. In the nose it is paired with light coconut, orange zest, and pineapple. In the taste it is almost overrun by the orange and general tropical fruits, more like an ipa weighed down by sugar. Feel is creamy, sugar, bright and smooth. Not my favorite in the series, but fine, missing bold flavors

16oz can
no apparent freshness date on can
thanks to Ken for giving me a can to try!
L: persistent creme colored head caps a lively carbonated hazy, opaque, tangerine colored ale
S: vanilla bean, tropical fruit, cream
T: lots of vanilla & lactose is backed by mild tropical fruit hop notes; bitterness seems to come from the vanilla more than the hops
F: full & creamy body, moderate carbonation, harsh bitterness with hot alcohol on the finish
O: a lot of things need to be toned down on this one, namely the vanilla and the alcohol.
