Collaboration with Ology Brewing Co.

This Triple Dry-Hopped Double IPA brewed with our good friends at Ology Brewing is just bursting with tropical notes from 3 massive dry hops of Citra, Galaxy, Idaho 7, and Mosaic.

16oz can
no apparent freshness date, but newly canned last week
L: milky yellow body; foamy white head
S: juicy citrus, tropical fruit, and pine
T: zesty & tart: grapefruit, passion fruit, guava, lemon-lime, green grassy hops, mango, wheat, oats
F: full body, tart, resinous, zesty, bubbly carbonation, green hops burn the throat on the moderately bitter finish
O: great flavors, but these insanely dry hopped beers always end up burning the throat, which is something I’ve never really liked. I prefer bitterness over the burn.

Had on tap. Super hazy yellow with two of fingers of foam. This does well to use the dry hops to convey the hops aromas and flavors of a triple ipa without getting overly resinous. In the nose I get a lot of tropical fruit and some citrus, and lingering dry hops. Where as in the taste I get the dry hops right up front, filling the palate, with the fruits coming meekly out eventually within the hops. Very balanced. Has a certain airiness within the haze, decently creamy but not thick, refreshing. Hi-five bros!
