If only we all had the ambition that trendy brewers have when turning mild mannered and innocent styles of beer into desserts that any six-year old would love to try, we could all probably rule the world.
Rusty, muddy and mauve, Double Raspberry Marbles is the brainchild of More Brewing, shedding a patient and tarnish froth with a fruity aroma of macerated berries, candy and cream. Anything resembling hops is shy and hardly visible to the palate while the thickness of milkshake coats the palate with vanilla, milk and berry tartness. Any bitterness resonates like chewable vitamins as the finish comes with a cloyingly sweet aftertow.
Full bodied, rich and creamy, the milkshake IPA thwarts much of what makes beer beer in favor of additives, extras and accessories. Surprising that the beer doesn't come with optional sprinkles, I think that More Brewing has indeed lost their marbles.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Viscous and opaque body, with the color of dark raspberry. Long lasting pink-tinged head, that bulges in the middle from rising bubbles. Horizontal bands of puree laced lacing are left behind.
Aroma of raspberry and vanilla; very similar to melted raspberry ice cream.
Taste is sweet from the vanilla and milk sugar, and slightly tart from the raspberry. Flavors of raspberry, lemon, and vanilla. Flavors linger for a long time in the aftertaste.
Thick and creamy mouthfeel. Slight stickiness. Slight sting in the mouth from the higher ABV%. Excellent carbonation (surface storm lasts through the entire session).
Sweet ice cream beer with authentic tasting raspberry. Well done for the style.

Pours like a thick beer milkshake -- thick, opaque with a two or three finger head that fades quickly leaving behind lots of residue. Aroma is distinctly raspberry. Taste is less raspberry, though present with some creaminess. Very much like many of the Berliner Weiss style milkshakes out there. Nicely done and is a treat on warm, summer days.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Had 3/7/23.
Pours a hazy reddish pink, with a two and a half inch foamy head on a harder pour and a decent amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of raspberry, vanilla, malt, grassy hops. Smells faintly dank. Flavors of raspberry, vanilla, malt, some grassy hops. Tastes lightly dank. Smooth, fairly creamy, a very good lighter medium body, well carbonated.
It’s pretty straightforward- raspberry and vanilla, but it works really well. The Mosaic hops add a little earthiness as contrast, but no real bitterness. Like that this is not very sweet.
