If hops are supposed to be fruity, the milkshake style of IPA takes that notion and pushes it to reckless levels. Plump with peaches and cream, More Brewing's hyper-fruity IPA is simply gushing with fruit.
Hitting the glass with a dense and pastel golden pour, rife with haze and floating a rich meringue of froth. As its juicy scent rolls onto the nose with orchard fruit, pitted fruit, stone fruit, citrus and tropical perfumes, the first sip leads with a cake batter richness of poundcake, honey and cereal.
As the heavy bed of grain rests on the tongue, the hops pop with their citrusy flavors of orange, mango, pineapple, grapefruit and passionfruit. But the buildup of peach easily surpasses the hops and leads to a fruit-filled middle palate all aligning with the tangy, peppery acidity of peach. All wrapped in a cocoon of vanilla and the session certainly reads like a bitter and alcoholic milkshake.
Full bodied, rich on the palate and lumbered in its drinkability, the ale is pleasant to taste but difficult to drink, finishing more malty than dry and more sweet than bitter- a stark contrast to traditional IPA.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Had 6/8/22.
Pours a good looking hazy, deep orange color, with a half inch foamy head and some light foamy lacing. Aromas of vanilla, milk sugar, peaches- more prominent as it warms, light malt, faint earthy hops. Flavors of peaches, vanilla, milk sugar, light malt, some earthy hops. Smooth, thick and creamy, a very good lighter medium body, appropriately carbonated.
Fairly straightforward and very well executed. The peaches, vanilla and milk sugar are all vibrant and distinct. A solid effort, very enjoyable.
