Standard caveat: I do this the way I do on Untappd.
Poured into a weizen glass.
Straw colored and cloudy.
Subtle notes of wheat. Hard to tell it's a wheat beer from the nose.
Getting some tartness in the flavor, s!most lemony. I don't get the typical wheat notes in the mouthfeel. Had I tasted this blind,I might have mistaken it for a pale ale. There's not really enough about it to let me know it's a wheat ale. Note: Subsequent tastings yielded a more prominent wheat presence.
I think that if I want a wheat beer, I will go back to a typical witbier or an American wheat beer like Oberon. That being said, it was a nice beer to drink.
