Had on tap. Very dark brown opaque body with two fingers of tan foam. Smells of toast, malts, and mild earthy yeast. Taste has toasted malt, earth, hints of dark fruit, cocoa and mild earthy hop. Lighter and has a bit more bitterness, but pleasant, dries out through the sip nicely

More has done some collaborations with a bottle shop called Beer On The Wall. The first was a pilsner called Take One Down. Thus, the next collab is Pass it Round.
Poured into a footed pilsner glass. Very dark. Deep ruby colored when held up to the light n
Dark chocolate, bready aroma.
A good deal of roast character, more than I would expect from this style. There's some malt sweetness that keeps it from being an out and out schwarzbier, but I don't think this is true to style for a Munich Dunkel. I expected a bit more malt sweetness and less roast.
A bit disappointing, because More usually does very good lagers.
Second review: 11/07/2024.
More revamped the recipe, apparently. Much less roasty. More chocolate notes, more nutty notes. i still would prefer a bit more malt sweetness, but this is a vast improvement over the first attempt.
