Brewed from the second runnings of the grist that was used to make Henna. This medium bodied English-Style Brown ale offers notes of toasted nuts and dry roast.

Had on tap. Dark brown body with lighter edges, light brown cap. Nose is delicate: english brown yeast, cocoa, faint malt. Taste is another story: lightly roasted malt, cocoa and earth start, then big caramel, before finished by english yeast. Feel is medium-light bodied, sessionable and smooth. Takes me back to the pubs of London in my mind. The wife loved it

Released 2/27/24; drank 3/23/24 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dark brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice tan head which quickly dissipated; decent, frothy lacing remained.
Medium roast coffee bean, milk chocolate & faint vanilla notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Mild flavors of medium roast coffee bean, mild chocolate & faint coconut.
It seemed a bit watery at first, but this got more pronounced as it warmed. A bit dull, but the flavors that are there are good.

Standard caveat: I do this the way I do on Untappd.
Slightly nutty aroma. I get nutty notes and a slight roast character. It reminds me of pecans, but I don't get the overt nut sweetness like pecans. Mildly bitter on the finish. At 3.8%, it really goes down easily.
