500 ml bottle into a snifter. A 2024 release, had 12/7/24.
Pours near black and opaque, with a brief sizzle of foam and a light oily smear on the glass. Thick looking. Aromas of bourbon, rye, chocolate, coconut, vanilla as it warms, light chilies, a little cinnamon. Flavors of chocolate, chilies, bourbon, coconut, some vanilla, some rye when warmed. Smooth, creamy, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.
This is best fully warmed. The chocolate and coconut show best, followed by the chilies and barrels. So good from top to bottom and nothing is overdone. All but the cinnamon has a real impact. Delicious.

Adjunct explosion! Let's start with the taste as this is the curiosity here: does the stout get saturated in the sweetness of it all? Big bourbon and maple start, soon joined by raisin, coconut, and chocolate brownie batter, before vanilla, a key balancing rye and wet oak arrive, the cinnamon and chiles are faint. It works! Smell gets the cinnamon, chocolate and maple with the bourbon forward barrels. Thick, chewy, warm, and sticky oily stout batter but want more here from either, or preferably both barrels and adjuncts. Pitch black body with a light brown ring
