Pitch black opaque body, brown ring. Smells strongly of bourbon barrels with black strap molasses, raisin, dark chocolate with minor caramel, vanilla roasted malt, old leather and wet earth. Taste features bourbon soaked raisin and minor plum with molasses, anise, leather, dark chocolate fudge, with accents of roasted malt, caramel and warming tannins. Feel is thick, warm, yet not too heavy or sticky, has the richness you want without the sludge, amazing barrel character. Excellent refined sipper
