500 ml bottle into a snifter. A 2024 release, had 12/28/24.

Pours near black and opaque, with only quick fizz of a head and some oily smear on the glass. Aromas of vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, coconut, malt, some bourbon, light oak. The flavor is more bourbon forward, then vanilla, chocolate, coconut, roasted malt, some strawberry. Smooth, somewhat creamy, an excellent full body, appropriately carbonated on the lower side.

Delicious. All the add- ins show well, even the strawberry, to go with the silky smooth base and solid barrel presence. It’s all balanced nicely. Really enjoyable.

 

Shimmering black body with a brown ring. My buddy and I loved coconut double rainbow so we were hyped to try this ba verison. Yeah... nowhere near as good unfortunately. The strawberry and coconut are saccharine when enhanced by the bourbon forward barrels, punishing the palate for most of the sip, the after flavors of chocolate and vanilla are good though. Everything is in layers it seems, especially in the nose where, barrel, coconut, strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate act like they barely know each other, but a lot going on that I don't hate it. Feels smooth before sugary and boozy edge take over on the finish.
