Slathered with chocolate and marshmallow flavor, More Brewing takes the otherwise roasty and toasty stout and turns it into dessert. Looks like you can have your stout and drink it too.
Jet black and pouring with a thatch-like consistency, the nearly still stout begins to swoon the senses with the promises of milk chocolate, vanilla, cream and marshmallow with a backdrop of coffee and cola. Expectedly sweet on the tongue, Henna delivers on the decadence of cream candy, cola, chocolate, marshmallow, caramel and honey.
Its all-things-sweet attitude stretches across the middle palate where a full saturation of the tastebuds comes way of unforgiving malt sweetness. Veering from chocolate and marshmallow and toward coffee and cola, the flavors and textures lighten toward finish and bring a more drinkable mouthfeel but at the expense of richness and fullness.
Full bodied, creamy and rich, the stout finishes like kahlua, coffee and cola in a slightly lackluster and simple sweet afterglow.
