We took a rye milk stout base and aged it in Pikesville Rye Whiskey barrels. Rich fudge with a pleasant rye spice and barrel to cut the sweetness.

16oz black can, adhesive label. No dating information found.
Black colored body. One finger of brown colored head, and this results in a surface storm and a full ring. No lacing.
Aroma of bourbon barrel, oak, roasted malts, and rye malt.
Taste is sweet and bourbon barrel soaked. Flavors of roasted malt, rye malt, bourbon barrel, chocolate, toffee, and oak. Aftertaste continues with all flavors.
More than medium mouthfeel. Creamy and smooth texture. Higher ABV% is evident in vapors and bourbon flavor. Good carbonation.
Boozy, spicy, and sweet Milk Stout.

It didn't form a head poured into a tulip glass. Some fizzing foam. That's about it.
Nice nose. Rye and barrel.
It's rye and spiciness for the flavor. That and barrel offset the sweetness, which also gives it a sense of more body.

Pours absolutely black with a fine three finger head that builds slowly. Notes of roasted malt, rye and oak drift up in the aroma. Taste is rye, oak, roasted malt, chocolate and vanilla. This is one of the smoothest brews I've had; delicious from start to finish, though admittedly, there is a slight falloff in the taste as the beer warms, so drink quickly. When I finished mine, I licked the mug, desperately wanting another.

16oz can, no apparent freshness date
L: jet black body with a rich dark brown head
S: roast & char, oak barrel, vanilla, cocoa, spicy rye, sweet lactose, rye whiskey
T: sweet to start with notes of lactose, caramel, dark chocolate, fudge, raisin/prune; tobacco leaf, spicy rye, and oaky whiskey add heat and a sharp booziness; roasted barley and earthy hops add some bitterness
F: full creamy body, ample carbonation, sticky and sweet yet robust and boozy
O: absolutely delicious! I'm sad I gave the other can of the 2-pack away to Ken but at least I know he'll enjoy it as much as I did

Aroma is huge rye whiskey, chocolate and dark malts. The flavor is fruit/hint of tobacco, dark malts, chocolate/milk chocolate and a warming alcoholic rye whiskey/slight vinous finish.
