Imperial stout aged in a Willet Family Estate barrel for 22 months blended with imperial stout aged in a BLiS Maple Syrup barrel for 43 months.

Black and opaque, the brown ring sustains atop. Taste is barrel driven with big bourbon soaked tannins, maple and caramel seep into the barrels with dark chocolate malts, char, raisin, and roasted tones. Smell is barrel and maple with brown sugar, and vague dark fruits the whole way with a hint of char. Feel is warmer than last year, chewy yet smooth, dries out decently, barrel character is felt significantly. Not as complex as last year but still a very good stout for the dead of winter
