The color ruby, light brown with what appears to be a mild haze. Good, lasting head which leaves a couple of streaks on the glass.
Creamy initial smell. Next comes the yeast and farmhouse elements. It's difficult to pull out the raspberry, but it is there...in the background.
More farmhouse than fruity. This is dry and rich bodied beer. Plenty of caramelized malt on the tongue. The harshness comes from the yeasty bite. This is featured in the aftertaste as well. The raspberry is a little more present but certainly isn't the cornerstone of this brew.
