Cloudy, burnt rust color. The head has a pink hue to it. Light lacing of multiple minor spots.
The smell is a bit of apple to the smell. Not quite a cider odor. There’s a bitter, but off, aroma that reminds me of a freshly crushed bugs.
Lots of raw yeast taste. The saison elements are stronger than any apple flavors that might be present. This is an aggressive and harsh beer. High carbonation like most saisons. Decent body. I don’t pick up on any blueberries—there is no sweetness to this beer. Long astringently bitter aftertaste.
