Anniversary DDH IPA canned 7/10/18
Poured into a bulbous pint glass shows a cloudy orangish-gold body with random rising bubbles and a quickly disappating 1/2in tight-bubbled cap of whitish head.
Aromas include tropical fruit including pineapple, fresh air, and something I can only describe as fruit flowers or the actual outer skin/peel/husk of a pineapple and not in a bad way, just like the aroma you get when you smell a fresh pineapple for ripeness. That said, it is not an overpowering aroma and is definitely not pineapple juice.
Flavors match with good malt balance and no vegetal aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is a clean medium without being heavy and just short of sticky.
Overall a great start for a local, and growing, micro.
