Taste: sweet, milky smooth, cold brew coffee, cocoa nibs, chocolate malts. Sweet lactose and cocoa powder nose. Golden amber hue, clear, with soft white head and refined lace. Smooth. 15 IBUs

From the Black Horizon website:
"This almost golden bodied beer was designed to have similar traits to a nice sweet stout without the dark malts added. What you get is an incredibly flavorful white stout full of sweet dessert notes with hints of cream, cocoa, and coffee throughout."
A fairly accurate description.
A dark gold/copper body floating a fluffy, off-white 1/2in head of foam and agitation brings sheets of spotted lacing that mostly fall back to an edge-hugging ring.
The aroma has the only hint of coffee, or even any roast bitterness, and that is fine by me. An even handed, cozy mocha aroma at that.
Flavors of caramel, cocoa, cream, and with the smooth, creamy, lactose influenced feel, make for a fine combination.
Overall a nice sweet stout without the typical color.
