16 ounce can into a snifter. Had 8/13/22.
Pours a mostly clear copper color, with a short head and sparse lacing. Aromas of bourbon, caramel, malt, oak, some raisins, light cherry. Flavors of bourbon, malt, caramel, some oak, light cherry. Slightly harsh, a good medium body, appropriately carbonated.
The Buffalo Trace barrels are excellent. Great aromas, a good flavor that would maybe be better with a bit more of a backbone to stand up to those barrels. Certainly enjoyable.
