West Coast IPA for those who are looking for a crisp, clean, non hazy IPA. Surf King is brewed with Centennial, Simcoe, and Citra hops that pack plenty of pine with a wonderful tropical citrus and hop forward notes. A true to style West Coast that offers up all the classic vibes of old school Cali IPA.
Notes: Hoppy, Citrus, candied pine, grapefruit peel, clear and crispy

this review is more for the old-school West Coast fans looking for the old flavors: like recent beers from Mikerphone this ain't it. It tastes relatively synthetic. It's not as if Sierra Nevada, Stone, Lagunitas, etc., don't still brew their classic WCIPAs. It's so frustrating to spend what 4-packs cost these days and not get what's advertised on the can. Black Horizon: drink a Torpedo and go back to the drawing board.

I am trying an 8oz glass ofthis beer off the tapper at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle sweet malt and fruity notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet crisp malt base with sharp papaya and berry presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
