550ml bottle poured into a tulip
Taken from notes- 8/24/19
A- pours an apple juice color with a one finger foamy white head that has short retention
S- fruity on the nose with notes of apples and peaches leading the way, peppery rye and yeast, maple and oak
T- initial taste is fruity with plenty of cider coming through, followed by juicy peach, and undertones of pear and lemon. Mid-palate brings out some spicy yeast and a peppery note. The finish gives more cider notes. The linger brings out huge equal parts of maple and oak, it doesn’t hit you until about a second after you finish, very unique
M- medium body with moderate carbonation, foamy mouthfeel and crisp finish
O- the maple and oak notes really come through, but not after a delicate mix of fruit, we’ll done
