Appearance: A two finger head caps the slightly hazy honey colored liquid; splashes of lacing leave a few spots behind
Smell: Spicy phenols in the aroma with a banana spice cake character supplemented by lemon pepper, clove and some barnyard funk
Taste: An interesting blend, up front, of peppery phenols and barnyard hay with the subtle banana spice cake elements slowly emerging underneath; barnyard funk and a lot of clove, in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A lot going on in this interesting, complex Saison
Thanks, Treyliff, for the opportunity

16oz can poured into a tulip
A- pours a slightly hazy pale yellow color with a two-finger foamy white head that reduces to leave nothing behind
S- spicy and peppery yeast on the nose gives aromas of clove, banana, ripe pears and green apples, phenolic basement must. Floral and citrusy hop undertones close it out
T- bold yeast follows the aromas up front with flavors of cracked pepper, cloves, banana, pear, lemon, straw and musk. The finish gives some floral hop highlights before ending with more peppery and earthy yeast
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a crisp, dry finish
O- a bold and delicious saison, reminiscent of some of the Belgian classics that I've had.
