I had this on an autumnal night in June 2025. It poured up black as night. Not much scent. Very woody taste and with a solid body while not being too sweet.

On tap. Black color. Tan head.
Roasted, chocolate, caramel, coffee. Smooth. Thick. I think I actually prefer this to the Jack Daniel’s barrel aged version. Just a solid stout all around.
2024 on tap 11/24
Roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, bitter dark chocolate, licorice. Not as good as the last batch I tried, but maybe it’s too fresh. 3.75

10 oz pour of the Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel aged Soviet Slayer enjoyed at the taproom for $8. A perfectly acceptable BA imperial stout but not something I would go out of my way for. Also not a fan of the manufactured hype. I would not put this above BCBS, Central Waters Stout, or even Waconia's Driftwood Stout. The barrel character here is just a bit lacking.
