Bottle.
Caramel hues black. No head.
No idea what is going on here. Tons of booze. Not much else. Some chocolate and vanilla. A straight up non complex booze bomb. Not good. Over roasted finish.

Glad to see my first packaged Back Channel. 375ML bottle with green wax thicker than a Facebook virus denier. Hint: no need for a pound of wax on every little bottle.
Big black stout with a booming head that’s 94% gone within a few minutes. Aroma doesn’t strike much; general sweetness, touch of roast. Light.
M*A*S*H is an homage to the gods of palate destruction. The gentle nose gives way to a crashing assault of booze (I can feel brain cells dying), chocolate (lovely), & roast (sliding on the bitter side which is not my favorite). Long slope of malt sweetness that I’m going to have to floss from between my teeth later. As thick as the ABV indicates, but given all that’s going on, should have split this little guy with my wife.
Hard one to judge for me; the bitter roast detracts from its more positive qualities, & it’s not good enough to support swigging this high an ABV on a school night. Settling for ‘good’ & was hoping for ‘yeaaaaah boy’.
