500ml bottle about 9 months old, drank 8/21/2025
Look: black body with a short very fine creamy brown head that was very persistent.
Taste: plenty of nice smooth mellow chocolate, a mild roast that was kinda toasty or is this part of ( a layer of) the chocolate??? The roast flavor was different and hard to describe but it maybe part of the biscotti. Plenty of vanilla, some almonds, hint of caramel. The Dickel barrel shows up but blends in with the rest of the flavors nicely. This beer is very smooth, rich, mellow and great for sipping. Mildly sweet overall but does have a few mild bitter elements. The ABV is all but totally buried.
Feel is smooth, The beer is slightly thick and creamy/malty.
