I tried a this beer at the brewery with HomeBrew as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had bold maple, cocoa, and vanilla notes. The taste was very sweet and not overly easy to drink with sweet malt base and had maple, vanilla, milk chocolate and nut finish. A wee bit boozy. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

16oz can from Halftime. Muddy brown pour, sparse beige head. Aroma is mostly chocolate, hint of marshmallow and graham. Taste brings light banana notes, cinnamon. Sweet, smooth, a touch of alcohol warmth at the finish. I'm only missing the campfire...

This packs a sting that’s very strong. Aftertaste does take like banana s’mores, but this really is more like a spiked dark chocolate bar. Really interesting, but not a go-to drink!

I don't see a date listed on the can or label.

Appearance: The beer is a dark brown color. It is completely opaque. The head is a fizzy cola-like structure that is khaki-brown. The head doesn't leave any lacing and it fades pretty quickly, but it always leaves something on the surface.

Aroma: It smells like a cross between a chocolate tootsie roll pop and brownie batter. There is a dark roasted malt aroma to the beer. It smells the way you would imagine Halloween would smell like.

Taste: It tastes like chocolate but there sweet, artificial, candy flavor to the beer. It tastes like some kind of Halloween candy. It tastes a bit like a banana split flavored candy with banana, cream, chocolate, and artificial vanilla. It might sound bad but if you don't mind artificial flavors then it tastes really good.

Mouthfeel: It feels medium-full bodied and somewhat easy to drink. Carbonation feels good.

Overall: The can states that this is an "IMPERIAL STOUT WITH BANANA AND S'MORES FLAVORING." I don't know if there is any artificial flavoring in this beer but it tastes and smells very artificial, similar to something that would be found in a candy. It tastes a lot like a banana split flavored candy. If you aren't fond of artificial flavors or flavors that seem artificial then I would caution you against this beer. If your margins are a bit wider, meaning that you don't mind artificial-seeming flavors if they taste good, then I would recommend giving this one a shot. This would be the perfect beer for a Halloween party or a late fall birthday. I would definitely buy it again in the fall, or currently to save for the fall. It was a fun beer to drink.
