Funky label, reminiscent of a 1920's commercial ad, well done. Dark ruby colour with a neglectable layer of foam. Nice full smell of liquorice, caramel and malt. The taste is nice as well: the malts bring a full flavour, mixed with a hint of caramel sweetness and a bitter hoppy aftertaste. This bokbeer lingers more to bitter than to sweet. A nice example of an bottom fermenting herfstbok. Probably the best beer of this underachieving brewery. A very good bargain as well.

Head large, thick, yellow. The aroma of plums, cherries, caramel. The taste of plums, cherries, caramel and coffee with intense bitterness. Very cool, easy beer, no pulls, just pleasant,
