A 440ml can with a BB of Dec 2015. Purchased a little while back from a bargain store. Presumably created for the UK market for tax reasons.
A: Poured into a straight pint glass. A crystal-clear pale gold colour with plentiful carbonation. Forms a large head of creamy white foam with good retention; this steadily reduces to a thick surface layer. Nice lacing.
S: Aroma of light malt with faint hints of grain, yeast esters and stewed leaves. A whisper of green apples in the background. OK.
T: Tastes of light malt with a mild finish. Notes of faint grain, vague yeast esters, mild stewed leaves and an undertone of green apple. Possesses a delicate sweetness, followed by a weak, leafy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and an insubstantial body. Lightly astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of faint malt, stewed leaves and a twinge of cardboard.
O: Pretty much meets expectations, and could certainly be worse. Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are very bland and insipid. Watery body. Subtle, but no major character flaws. A drinkable light lager that can be had cheaply.
