Typical Dutch lager...look, taste & feel very similar to Heineken, Grolsh, Bavaria & the rest. I will say it is a bit better than the norm...less sweet & skunky as Heineken, a bit more hop bite (but not much).
Good choice if you can find it cheap, otherwise don't bother.

Guilder Lager pours a nice stiff head over a clear dark yellow brew.
Carbonation is steady, and the nose is lager yeast and a little barley.
The flavor is sweetish light malt and a tiny bit of herbal hop in the finish.
The mouthfeel is nice and crisp- quite cleansing and refreshing. Not a
really big beer, but what's there is pretty good. In spite of the (admittedly
cute) green bottle there wasn't any skunky surprises. And in spite of it's
modesty, it would still beat any of the big three in a blind taste test. Scored
some for four bucks a six at Essers- just the thing for lawnmowing or sitting
under a tree.

This is a clear golden colored lager with a decent white head. A Heineken clone maybe a little darker.
Smell is sweet and grassy with considerable hay aroma. Not much more I can say about it. I really think Heineken smells better.
Taste is sweet and grassy but frankly it seems a bit flat tasting. Decently bitter this just seems to lack the spirit that Heineken has. Very much a Tuborg Gold clone.
Mouthfeel seems lacking.
Not that great a beer. If you can buy a single then you can try it but DON'T buy a six pack of this.

Bought as a 6 pack from cheap Grocery Outlet. Pretty average looking pale lager..weak golden with a large frothy white head. NO aroma at all to speak off..tiny bit of skunk, after all it is a gren bottle!!. Flavour is strange it starts off like a regular malty style lager.then degenerates into watery bitterness.. I find the lemony taste quite jarring. Thin Thin watery mouthfeel to it, no enjoyment. This started off looking like it might just be an average Dutch lager..but eneded up sub par..not very good.
