Lucice 11/8 2015. 50 cl can from local market Maxi. Dark blue can with a black panther glaring angrily at me.
Pours clear yellow with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Head disappears quick leaving almost no trace of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is of sweet malts and boozy metallic alcohol. Pale malts, bread, grains with a sharp edge.
Fairly low carbonation. Slightly thic, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor follows the nose. Overwhelmingly sweet and with a boozy metallic aftertaste.
Rather standard European strong beer - way too sweet and with harsh metallic boozy aftertaste. I will not get addicted to this fluid.

Clear deep golden body with a large, frothy, white head, mostly lasting with some nice lacing; average density of a mix of very large and very tiny particles.
Light-to-moderate malty (grains) aroma with evident notes of alcohol and spices.
Moderate sweet flavour; short sweet finish with a harsh note of alcohol.
Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.

500 ml can, from a SPAR shop in Funchal. ABV is 8.6%. Clear golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma, notes of banana, a hint of soap. Moderately sweet flavour, notes of banana again. Moderate hops.

They like to call overly strong beers "intense" and "Blond Beer" instead of swill lager. But it's all in good fun. Picked up the tall can at a corner market across from the church in Pont-sur-Yonne, but seems like it's a convenience store staple for thirsty moped riders.
Quite lovely in the usual Euro way, big creamy white foam on the yellow brew. This one is actually sweeter and nastier than the rest of the litter. Musty smell, candy-like dirty taste, and well, disgusting aftertaste. Very alcoholic. Good thing it taste so nasty, it would be lights out after a couple of these.
