Copenhagen 9/112019. 50 cl can from Aldi, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh NV. Usual Schultenbräu design in red and gold.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam not quite able to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense, sweet, fruity, lemonade-ish with a slightly artificial streak. Lemon, Orange and light Citrus. A bit yeasty. Hints of Air Sweetener.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, quite lively texture.
Flavor has a strong fruity and flowery sweetness followed by a light, moderate bitterness. Lingers shortly.
Drinkable low price Weizen. A bit too sweet and comes with an uncanny artificial streak. But who would expect perfection in this case?

500 ml can, as Schultenbräu Weissbier Premium, from Aldi Ebeltoft. Brewed at Brauerei Gotha. ABV is 4.9%. Hazy golden colour, large to moderate white head. Nice aroma of cloves and banana. Flavour also of cloves and banana, slightly sweet. Minimal hops.
