Copenhagen 22/10 2016. 50 cl can from Aldi. Very golden can with the usual Heraldic paraphernalia with a shield and a couple of lions.

Pours clear yellow with a white head. Head settles as a thin almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer.

Aroma of lightly sweet malts and grains. Hints of something a bit more sour and sharp.

Light carbonation and watery palate.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness. Strangely burnt taste in aftertaste.

Not a fantastic Pilsner - but certainly ok for the rather low price.

Drink it from a half liter can, so I can not write about a appearance.

The nose brings me to some of fine hops and lighty grainy aromas....not strong but in a far distance...

The taste, is smooth and light. For this kind of German Pilsener it is a good fresh beer when it is good ice cold served. Nothing wrong with it. The sad part is you taste nothing what have to do with beer...but it gives a kick of drinking this beer a lot in 1 day or night, you will be drunk as Hell!

Okay for a day all partying for using this beer, but not for taking the time for it.

A really cheap beer, it cost me 25 cents for a bottle of 300 ml, and it was the only choice on that supermarket (Aldi, in the Netherlands). I don't expect too much..

Colour is strong golden yellow, with a white soapy head, two fingers in height. Slowly but steadily dissolved, no lacing on the glass, no bubbles rising to the surface.
Aroma is very light, of malts and grass.
Taste.. what taste? is like drinking water with yellow colour, I would say piss but even piss would have some taste.
Very thin in body with minimal carbonation, also very watery.

Well, at least I was expecting it to be like that, so I wasn't dissapointed
