Note They are calling this the Pompous Pig Pumpkin Ale now.
Appearance This one came out of the tap a very light but bright orange in color. It was very clear and was topped with a modest white head.
Smell The pumpkin aroma was very light. It was the big spicing that overtook this nose for sure. It was heavy on the cinnamon and really just dominated. It was hard to smell my Reuben sandwich more or less anything else in the beer.
Taste The super dry, powdery spices came on strongly at the taste as well. I could only pick up the faintest hint of pumpkin. Im sure there were more pumpkin flavors in there, I just couldnt find them in all the spices.
Mouthfeel This was light-bodied, which was way too thin for what I look for in this style. The ale really lacked a solid structure.
Sinkability I couldnt even finish this one.
