Appearance This one is a medium brown in color and brilliant with a pure white head.
Smell The roasty notes here are very light and mixed well with some equally subtle coffee and table sugar. Everything is pretty even at the nose.
Taste The roasted malt quality comes out nicely at the taste. The smoke is moderate and, in my opinion, just right considering the flavor profile. There are some good coffee grounds in here as well.
Mouthfeel This medium-bodied beer is very balanced with good bitterness throughout and a lingering roasty aftertaste.
Drinkability This was very well done and went nicely with my pastrami and Swiss sandwich.
