they call it a shandy in house, but it is actually a blend of their gose and a ginger ale, pretty thoughtful summery concoction, still not sure why shandy and radler arent listed as a category here on BA. the sourness of the base gose is nicely cut by a natural sugar soda sort of vibe, and the ginger in here is spicy and fresh but not overdone, a little more assertive in the aroma than the flavor. usually this sort of thing is a turnoff for me, not beery enough, but in this case its mighty refreshing, seemingly naturally derived, and with enough of their delicious gose recognizable through it to work for me. it has nice balance, and still has some graininess to it, a bright lactic tartness, and enough salt remaining to help the finish be drier. on a hot or humid day, i could absolutely pound on these, the natural ginger and the low alcohol make it incredibly quenching and easy down, and its a nice blend. at this low abv, its infinitely sessionable, but maybe a touch too sweet for me personally to want to do that...
