Bought at Drankcenter Schotte in Waremgem via a Podge's Tour, I was glad to find Slaapmutske again since they had lost their importer to Chicagoland. This is my fourth from Slaapmutske and each has been interesting and Flemish quirky. But as in my earlier micro-reviews, I really wish their good website had an English translation button. These ales are good enough for a larger market. And since they contract brew, they should invest that saved capital into their website and make it much better. (Or maybe the Flanders Tourism and Export Board should have a program to do that.) Anyway, Slaapmustske only gets good Overall Hugs, but I'd like to give them more if I could read what they have to say.
Nazareth Looks like something I'd like to drink: nice big foam that sticks around the glass. Smells are yeasty, fruity; but oddly not inviting; rating it only slightly above the average. Tastes are balanced, almost. The hops come on too strong in mid-palate and linger stronger in the finish. So, I wouldn't have this again with food. Medium mouthed and soft. Gezondheid and Cheers !

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
