Pours mostly clear, although there is a slight cloudiness to the beer. Incredibly effervescent. Two finger sudsy head settles in before dissipating to a thin layer of velvety foam. That thin layer shows nice retention as the beer is consumed. Aroma has some light notes of sweet white bready malts, some dried corn, and a subtle floral, earthy hop aroma. Simple, straightforward, but perfect for this style.
Taste largely follows the nose with notes of white bread, a bit of graininess, some light corn notes and a floral, almost citrusy hop not on the back end. The hops are much brighter and fruitier on the palate than the nose would have implied. Feel is light, easy drinking, crisp, with vibrant, prickly carbonation. The light and airy nature of this beer also results in a rather abrupt finish that does not leave anything lingering through the finish.
Overall this is a really nice lager. They say its a beer for drinking, not thinking and they are correct. Crushed this can way too quickly and was left wanting another one.
