Grunt fill from Fred Meyer. Pours out a dark brown, small foamy light brown head. Aroma is mostly roast grains. Taste too is roasty, not much of the rye as in the American styles, but very close to a German roggenbier. Deep and roasty, with appropriate bitterness for a roggenbier or schwarzbier. Would like see the brewers intent on this, would change my rating.
