12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Hazy golden pour with a foamy white head. Citrusy aroma, grapefruit. Taste is juicy, grapefruit, light zest. Real easy drinker, almost finished it before my review was done.

i am glad these guys are sending some beer down to the boise area and that business is good, but this isnt great, maybe the weakest of their offerings i have had to date, and while i get that basically everyone has to make a hazy these days, this might not be their bread and butter. this is very hazy orange colored from the tap and has a fine looking inch of white head on it, decent in the glass. the aroma is fine too, slightly peachy to me, orchard fruit abounds, with a deeper woodsy note as well from the hops, a little sweetness to the grain, and what seems like a pretty clean ferment, all real fresh too, this is the beers best asset. the flavor starts off similar, juicy and ripe with a melon note and some orange peel character too, but about midway through it breaks way down, gets bitey and a little off, and like its not only over hopped a bit and green, but also the ferment isnt as minimal as it smelled, there is a soapy, slightly chemical thing to this that is the last thing i taste, even past the hops, that zizzle that some of these have, makes it seem extremely amateur, especially next to all the other great beers in their lineup, almost a burnt plastic thing, it lingers long and seems like the yeast was stressed, maybe too warm, not sure, but its off and it hurts this for me. the texture is pretty thick here too, and despite it being well carbonated its a pretty filling pint, no real desire for a second one even if the beer was a little better, they could stand to lighten this up slightly. i had loftier hopes for this after liking their other beers, but this is not inspiring at all. i am surprised to be seeing it around so much, did folks not taste it before they committed to pouring it? not awful, these flaws are relatively subtle, but these guys can do better...
edit: this was much better in the little pink can, cleaner and more refined, brighter fresher flavor, and better on the ferment. still not a standout in their lineup, but improved to me. increasing a couple of scores on this to sort of average out the two experiences with it in different formats, hopefully the draft gets better too...

A very tasty "local" hazy IPA tried locally on tap; the brew sits completely hazy and a shade darker than bright orange, with a small white head. Hoppy aromas and flavors that lean into some earthy, herbal characteristics and pop with some fruity and tropical notes. Apricot and other stone fruit as well. Minor piney and somewhat acidic notes on the palate, with a flash of citrus as well. Moderate bitterness for a hazy IPA, which I like.
