From a 473ml can packaged on 02 Feb 2026. Poured into a pint glass. A three finger fine white head on a hazy gold. the head diminishes to a rocky cap that sticks around to the end. Lots of foamy lacing.

A faint citrus aroma. The taste follows the nose with citrus hops and grainy malts. the fruity hops dominate but don't overwhelm the malts. A fruity but mildly bitter hop finish.

A medium body with moderate carbonation. Overall a solid American Pale Ale. Smooth, well balanced and easy drinking for a fairly high ABV Pale Ale. Well worth a try.

L: Hazy nearly opaque light amber yellow and a thick foamy white head.
S: Inviting aroma with stone and tropical fruityness and warm sweet malts
T: Big balanced flavour. Predominately toasty warm malts and hard to pin notes of tropical and stone fruit as advertised on the can. Not very bitter, somewhat drying.
F: Creamy thick bodied and smooth with little carbonation.
O: Flavourful and smooth enjoyable american pale ale. Complex without being in your face. It does make me think of sunshine but it's not crisp or thirst quenching so not really an ideal summer pick.

Can: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some alcing. Aroma of pale malt with light grainy note is OK. Taste is also amix of grainy notes with pale malt and light dry hoppy notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Malt bill could eb clean up but OK blonde ale overall.

I like this one a lot. Pretty straight forward, honey and citrus accents. Mildly pleasantly hopped,

A solid refreshing Farmtable Ale,

473 mL can from Superstore; best before Aug 13 2019 and served barely chilled.

Pours a clear, bright medium-golden colour flecked with tiny flakes of sediment; situated atop is an inch of puffy, foamy white head that gradually erodes into a rocky cap over the next five minutes, caking the glass with webby lace in the process. It smells mostly of grainy, crackery pale malts and bready sweetness, with some floral undertones, hints of citrus and earthy, slightly herbal hops. Very clean, but understated.

A pleasant, straightforward pale ale. Grainy pale malts, doughy bread and honeyed sweetness comprise the backbone, with fruity accents of orange and apricot coming through as well. The flavour starts to lean more towards floral and herbal at the back end, with a lightly earthy bitterness finishing things off; grapefruit-iness lingers on into the aftertaste, but only momentarily. Silky-smooth texture, with a solid, medium weight mouthfeel and low carbonation levels that softly nudge against the palate. Much more drinkable than it should be at 6.2% - I certainly wouldn't have minded another can right after this one.

Final Grade: 3.86, a B+. GoodLot's Farmstead Ale ain't too shabby: it's like a high abv, hoppy blonde ale with a sweet finish, and I can say from experience that it really hits the spot on a humid early summer night. The price is about right, too - I'll have to remember to pick more of this up the next time I'm grocery shopping, because I haven't seen it at any LCBOs in the area. Worth a tick for sure, and I'll be sure to keep an eye out for more GoodLot stuff in the future.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for about $3.25 CDN. Review from notes.

Appearance - Middling haziness, rich dark golden color. Two fingers of slow receding fluffy white head.

Smell - Lots of grain, suggestion of citrus, something sweet, possibly honey in there.

Taste - Like the nose, bready, malty with a clean kiss of citrus, a touch boozy and sweet honey to close.

Mouthfeel - Medium carbonation and body, fairly easy drinking, drying finish.

Overall - A Pretty solid if unspectacular high octane APA. Worth a try or two.

Hazy honey gold with an impressively solid head. Settles to a cap and gives blotchy lace. Grassy nops on the nose. Dry, gently bitter grassy hops, a wee bit ofmalt up front to soften things. Nicely balanced. Easy drinking. Worth a try.

Pours gold, on the beige side, with a lovely 1.5inch head. Smells like assorted grains. Taste is the perfect combo of bitter and malty. This beer feels thick and full bodied, a really nice brew.

Pours misty straw good head - aroma - honey balancing grapefruity hops. Flavour - again - honeyish, bready, well balanced.
