Poured from a bottle. Golden in color with a white head and lacing. Smells of fruit, grain, malt and honey. Taste of biscuit, fruit and honey. Smooth easy lager.

12 oz blue can with a picture of the old arena, pours deep slightly hazy copper color with a nice white head that clings to the sides of the glass. Good fresh grassy hop aromas, nice clean grain flavor, medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel, finishes dry and clean, not a bad lager.

From a classic, light blue (Winter Classic) shaded aluminum can. The beer is a hazy yellow-gold color with a bright white head. The aroma has a distinct cereal note.... some malt as well, but very cereal forward. The taste is relatively dry, with some hop flavors. Straightforward and okay.

Magnificent beer, and I can set aside my love of "The Old Barn" to provide a critique without bias. This beer is gold in color with inch high head and gentle lacing on the glass, just like when ice shavings drizzle down the glass at the rink. Smooth like an Adam Oates pass in the attacking zone and powerful like a Brett Hull slap shot goal. Fantastic beer perfect for any occasion, but particularly one where there are sticks, pucks and skates involved.

Gold in color with a quarter inch dishwater white on top. Aroma is of corn and grassy hops. I’m tasting corn and grassy hops. The mouth is pretty easygoing and smooth.
