Served into a conical pint glass at Founder’s Tavern in Southold, NY.
A: Pours a hazy, dark amber to light copper color. Minimal head, absolutely no head retention, basically a rim only when served, no lacing or legs.
S: Mostly the aroma of toast with a citrus note.
T: Rather dry, but with the distinct taste of fresh baked bread and beef bullion. Bitterness only comes on late and is peppery.
M: Light to medium bodied, low but present carbonation.
O: First time trying something from Eastern Front. Different, but enjoyable
