Served in a goblet glass at the Eastern Front Brewery in Mattituck, NY.
A: Pours a clear, brown color with ruby highlights, a solid one finger, wheat colored head, good retention and nice rings of lacing.
S: Aromas of coffee, chocolate, and cookie.
T: Semidry. Flavors basically follow the nose, but chocolate >> coffee and some toffee. Modest bitterness that offsets any sweetness.
M: Light bodied with medium carbonation. Drinks very smooth and refreshing.
O: Drinks like a solid Schwarzbier.
