Whew, quite tart and a little sour but this went down very smoothly. Obtained this via crowler straight from City Built. Pours a darker rose color, a little fluffy white head and some spotty lingering lacing. Aromas of tart fruit, mainly cranberry, raspberry and lime. A little malt, grain, faint blueberries. Taste follows the nose, juicy and tart, not too lip puckering, nice balance. Smooth refreshing crisp mouthfeel, goes down easy, great carbonation. Not usually my style of beer but this one was very nicely done.

16 oz can
canned 11/12/18
from superspak
stella artois gold lipped chalice
Cherry 7 up looking body with a rose blush, a creamy light pink head of 1 finger that diminishes to a thin ring after a minute or so.
Aromas of earthy cranberries and cranberry soda. Some mineral and crackery pilsner malt too.
I gotta say, the addition of lactose to this beer really helps round it out. It's full of tart and sweet cranberry and then a beautiful milk sugar note comes along, with vanilla and cream. Slight lime and lemon notes, perhaps a touch of cherry, some slight tea, some red grape.
Feel is heavily carbonated as expected, leaves a thin coating on the tongue and roof and cheeks. Mostly on the back tongue though. Light to medium body. Biting and acidic.
Overall an enjoyable sour beer, definitely a sipper, very sour but nicely done.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/12/2018. Pours fairly hazy medium orange/amber, light red/pinkish color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge sour/tart/tangy cranberries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, cranberries, and moderate lactose/malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy cranberries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy cranberries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, cranberries, and moderate lactose/malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/sourness, and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, acidic/tangy/tannic, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.8%. Overall this is an outstanding fruited Berliner weisse! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, cranberries, and moderate lactose/malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish, not overly lactic. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Amazing balance of juicy/jammy cranberries and Lacto complexity; with a nice lactose and pale/wheat malt backing against acidity. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
