Can pour - poured super dark with a light colored, solid head. Never really got the nose to open up, it presented as a BA stout (I know, this isn't a BA stout). Flavors were intense, hitting stride as it warmed up. Body was full, finish wasn't overly sweet.

Incredible imperial stout that really surprised me with its world class mouthfeel. Obtained this one fresh via crowler from this great local brewery. Pours a very thick syrupy jet-black color with a little tan head and some nice small rings of lingering lacing that slowly faded. Big aromas of deep dark rich chocolate, dark roast coffee, caramel, vanilla, coconut, malt and some lighter hazelnut. Taste follows the nose, very good balance and extremely flavorful. The high ABV doesn’t hit you right away and this pairs very well with both savory dinner and sweeter dessert. The mouthfeel was tremendous, amazingly chewy consistency with great smooth richness. Just the right amount of carbonation. Just an incredible imperial stout.
