Purploid Sour

Had my suspicions about this beer. However I heard quite a bit about it and good reviews so I gave it a try. A really nice Brewery in a very competitive Colorado craft brew state by the way. I recommend this beer. I tried this beer for the first time in a tiny sampler 1 oz. glass. It was ok. Not a good test. BUT, I ordered a crowler of it to go. The next day I cracked open the crowler and tried it with a meal. It was wonderful in a cold frosted glass. I find it easy drinking for a sour (which is quite a great characteristic). I believe sours are not meant as a beer to have when you are having much more than one. Enjoyed it. It is not edgy, spicy, acidic, but a slightly fruited sour. No heavy Brett. A nice change. I will order another.
